Press Accreditation for Trooping the Colour 2023
Apply for accreditation for Trooping the Colour on Saturday 17 June 2023, including Major General's Review and Colonel's Review
As per previous years, TV broadcasters alongside photographers will be invited to apply for accreditation to access the Queen Victoria Memorial and Canada Gate for The King's Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) on Saturday 17 June.
We are dedicating an area on the QVM (about a third of the memorial facing Canada Gate) for camera crews, but personnel and equipment must be kept to a minimum (one camera and one tripod per crew). The rest of the memorial will be reserved for photographers for views along The Mall and towards Buckingham Palace. There will be a dedicated area at Canada Gate for broadcasters and photographers.
Please be aware media accreditation on the QVM and at Canada Gate will be for broadcasters and photographers only.
Applications are now being accepted and will close on Wednesday 31st May 2023. To apply for media accreditation, photographers and broadcasters must email press@royalparks.org.uk with the following information:
- Name
- Organisation
- Photographer or broadcaster?
- Proof of published work
- Confirmation of your appointment to cover the event from the publication/broadcast editor
- Whether you would also like to cover the Major General's Review on 3 June and/or the Colonel's Review on 10 June
Please title your email – 'Trooping the Colour 2023 accreditation'
Applicants will be notified if they have been successful for Trooping the Colour (limited space is available) via email.
Separate confirmation emails will be sent to those wishing to cover the General's Review and/or the Colonel's Review once requests have been processed.
