Connect with nature, and learn about the park environment and wildlife with hands-on practical activities in Greenwich Park. Working in partnership with the Field Studies Council, we offer a wide range of outdoor learning for all ages.
Activities
Activities and courses include:
- School visits, from early years to A-level
- Family activities including pond dipping, bug hunts and bat walks
- Natural history courses
Facilities
The Wildlife Centre is located in the Flower Garden near Blackheath Gate. It is open to the public on the last Saturday afternoon of each month, though wildlife activities are currently taking place outside due to Covid restrictions.
Once restrictions are lifted, the Wildlife Centre Open Days will continue, with access to a nature trail with a pond, deer hide and woodland area and knowledgeable volunteers to show people around.
Thanks to The Friends of Greenwich Park for their support in creating the Wildlife Centre.
